ABOUT US
Mission
To educate and influence people to
prevent accidental injury and death.
Founded in 1950, the South Louisiana Chapter
of the National Safety Council provides
safety and health information, training and programs in South Louisiana
and the Gulf Coast region.
The Chapter is a non-governmental organization whose financial support is derived primarily from
education, training, memberships and grants from private
business and industry, as well as governmental agencies who recognize the value and necessity of an organization which gives citizens an
opportunity to participate in all aspects of safety and health within the local community.
Our efforts focus
on safety and health in the workplace, home, community and on the roads.
